Mi Workshops, we are an independent and forward-thinking company specialising in scenic design, set construction and theatre productions. Based on the fringes of Stratford upon Avon, the spiritual home of theatre, we are deeply connected to the rich traditions of the performing arts.

From the initial design phase and enquiry to the final fit-up, our commitment is to provide a seamless, high-quality, and professional service that ensures every project is a success.
With over a lifetime of experience, our Workshop Director, Matt Jacques, brings a passion for craftmanship and theatre set construction. Our 5000 sq ft workshop, combined with over 3000 sq ft of pre-build space, allows us to prebuild full sets, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project.
We offer 2D and 3D construction drawings and visualisations, bringing your creative vision to life. Communication is at the heart of our process, ensuring you are always informed and empowered to make decisions quickly and cost-effectively.
Traditional craftmanship and modern techniques, CNC and 3D printers, we combine both tried-and-true methods with innovative approaches. From small community theatre productions to large-scale professional shows, out team has the skills and experience to handle projects of any size.

With 5000 sq ft workshop and over 3000 sq ft of pre-build space, we have the ability to prebuild a full set here at the workshops. In addition our design team offers 2D construction drawings and 3D visualisations.
Communication throughout the build is key, ensuring you are always informed of the project from beginning to end and able to influence decisions quickly and cost effectively.
From a chisel to a paint brush, or a CNC machine to a 3D printer, we have traditional building techniques, that have been practiced for centuries, to new and innovative approaches working alongside each other.
